Team Iceland participating  at the 44th Chess Olympiad in  Chennai , India. The opening ceremony was held  at the Nehru Indoor Stadium on 28 July 2022 in the presence of the Prime Minister of India , Shri. Narender Modi and Mr. M.K . Stalin , the Chief Minister of the state of Tamil Nadu

The  men‘s team from Iceland consists of five grandmasters:

The women‘s  team consists of:
